Accessibility Statement Details
Full details on our commitment, current status, known limitations, and how to contact us.
Our Commitment
Look Who's Outdoors LLC is committed to ensuring that the Look Who's Outdoors website (https://lookwhosoutdoors.com) and mobile application (collectively, the 'Platform') are accessible to individuals with disabilities. We believe that the outdoors is for everyone, and that commitment extends to how we build and maintain our digital products.
We are working to make the Platform conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) on October 5, 2023. Our commitment also reflects our obligations under:
- Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act, 42 U.S.C. §§ 12181 et seq., and the U.S. Department of Justice's April 8, 2024 final rule under Title II requiring WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance for state and local government web content (which we adopt as a benchmark for private-sector best practice)
- Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, 29 U.S.C. § 794, where applicable
- California Unruh Civil Rights Act, Cal. Civ. Code § 51
- New York State Human Rights Law and California Disabled Persons Act
- Air Carrier Access Act and other industry-specific federal accessibility laws to the extent applicable to particular Platform features
These guidelines explain how to make web and mobile content more accessible to people with disabilities, including users who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, magnification software, and other assistive technologies.
1.1 European Accessibility Act
LWO does not target or knowingly accept users from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom; accordingly, the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), which became enforceable on June 28, 2025, does not apply to LWO. To the extent any feature of the Platform is accessed from the EEA or UK, LWO will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide equivalent accessibility through compliance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
Current Accessibility Status
The Platform is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. 'Partially conformant' means that some parts of the Platform do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to identify and remediate accessibility gaps across the Platform.
The Platform has not yet been formally audited by an independent accessibility specialist. We intend to commission a formal accessibility audit and to publish our audit findings and remediation plan in a future update to this Statement.
Our Commitments
- Commission a third-party WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance audit by an accredited accessibility specialist (such as a member of the International Association of Accessibility Professionals) within twelve (12) months of the Last Updated date of this Statement
- Publish a summary of the audit findings and a written remediation plan with target completion dates within sixty (60) days of completing the audit
- Update this Accessibility Statement at least annually with our progress
Known Accessibility Limitations
We are aware of the following limitations that we are actively working to address:
- Some interactive features within the mobile application may not yet fully support screen readers, including VoiceOver (iOS) and TalkBack (Android). Improvements are ongoing.
- Video content, where present, may not yet include full captions or audio descriptions. We are working to add captions to all video content.
- Some legacy images may not yet have adequate alternative text ('alt text'). We are auditing and updating image alt text across the Platform.
- Some complex interactive components (such as date pickers and filtering interfaces) may present challenges for keyboard-only navigation. These components are being reviewed.
This list is not exhaustive. If you encounter an accessibility barrier not listed above, please let us know using the contact details in Section 5.
Requesting Accommodation
For users who require an alternative method of accessing any Platform feature pending remediation, LWO will provide reasonable accommodation upon request, including (where feasible) telephone or email-assisted access to functionality that is not yet fully accessible.
Reasonable accommodation requests should be sent to [email protected] with the subject line: "Accessibility Accommodation Request."
