Yes. The app is free on both iOS and Android, with no subscription required. Adventurers pay only when they book an event or buy gear. Hosts and Sellers pay nothing upfront — only a commission when they make a sale.
Just the listed price plus applicable sales tax — no extra buyer fees. Sales tax is calculated and collected automatically at checkout, and remitted by LWO on behalf of Hosts and Sellers.
No. LWO collects and remits all applicable sales tax on your behalf, in accordance with Texas law. You don’t need to handle tax filings for your LWO sales.
Yes, for Hosts and Sellers. All payouts on LWO are processed through Stripe Connect, so you’ll need to connect a Stripe account during onboarding to receive your earnings. Adventurers do not need a Stripe account to book events or buy gear.
Hosts get paid through Stripe Connect, deposited directly to your linked bank account. You receive the ticket price minus the LWO commission and Stripe processing fee. LWO handles all sales tax remittance for you.
Sellers get paid through Stripe Connect to your linked bank account once the buyer’s order is confirmed. You receive the sale price minus LWO commission and Stripe fees. LWO handles all sales tax remittance.
LWO is currently available across Texas, including Dallas, Austin, Houston, and 20+ surrounding cities. We’re actively expanding — follow us in the app for new city launches.
Yes. Every transaction on LWO is processed through Stripe, an industry-leading, PCI-compliant payment processor trusted by millions of businesses worldwide. Your card details are never stored on LWO’s servers.
